Tamara Boroš, the former World number 2, and the only non-Asian player in the past 25 years to win a medal at World table tennis championship in women’s singles category, successfully graduated at the Faculty of Kinesiology University of Split.
Tamara successfully defended her master thesis “Characteristics of basic playing systems in modern table tennis women’s game” under the mentorship of Prof. Goran Munivrana and has earned her Master degree in Sports coaching (with additional specialisation in table tennis coaching).
She is also the first student to graduate from the group that started three years ago at the Faculty of Kinesiology University of Split as a first generation of students in the university education project, initiated in cooperation with International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and European Table Tennis Union (ETTU), which also supported a great number of students in the programme, including Tamara, by providing scholarship opportunities to help their study endeavours.
Congratulations Tamara!
